New moon, Sabbath and fasting, what are the benefits.

Today is New Moon.
in the Bible, new moon is a Holy Day.
I was thinking about Sabbath and Holy Days and fasting.
How Holy days are set apart for the Lord God..to do no servile work and to not exchange money..
and fasting food and what are the benefits to man.
Because Jesus said man was not made for the Sabbath, the Sabbath was made for man.
God gave me this thought in prayer this morning.
if we fill up with our own works every day of the week..we do not see the Spirit work. On Sabbath and new moon we can, if we restrain from work, see heaven work on our behalf.
In fasting, restraining from natural food, we can experience Heavenly food more exactly.

One of the most powerful revelations on Spiritual warfare The Lord has given me is from the scripture which says.
Come unto me, all ye who are weak and heavy laden and I will give you rest. Learn of me, (This is key for my point), for I am meek and lowly in heart. And you will find rest unto your soul. For my yoke is easy and my burden it is light.

to learn of Jesus the Christ..to learn what He did, what He was and is like..to be like Him..
this is the power of heaven at our disposal.
to be like Him.
meek and lowly in heart.
what is meek..it is humble, honest..knowing we have more to learn.
