Just because you can talk sports does not mean you know how to play the game.
just because you can talk Jesus..
does not mean you know Him.

Thought of the day…
Truth is not in consensus..
Truth Is in the Lord God.

Let me elaborate…

There is safety in numbers for many reasons…
One being, many people can bring more facts and a greater breadth of perspective.
Yet no amount if people have all the facts that the Creator has.
So yes, respect other peoples knowledge, if proven true.
But only use the Truth of God as your measuring stick, as your true north, as your tuning fork.

Child of God?

Below. .I will list various scriptures..which when pondered on together has great potential to open ones understanding of being a child of God.

Mark 6:34 …and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd; and he began to teach them many things.

Acts 1:1 and 2….of all Jesus began both to do and teach..until the day in which He was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given comandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen.

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe onhis name:

2 Timothy2:2  And the things thou hast heard of me, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

John 11:52…but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.

Hebrews 13:14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

Luke 3:38 …Adam, which was the son of God.

1 Cor.15:45 And so it is written the first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

It is written..
Jesus Christ said..
“Learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart.”

How do we learn?
By watching a Master.

We learn by what we hear from a True Holy Ghost filled follower of Jesus the Christ.
We learn by reading the Bible scriptures.
We learn by seeking to hear the voice of God our ownselves.
We learn as we seek Him out.

Jesus said, “I come to give life, and to give it more abundantly”.

Why?

I got a thought while reading Psalms 111..
About why God presses the commandments so.. they point to His covenant with us.
Our part of the covenant is in the commandments..
His part of the covenant, His promise of this agreement is to bless us above and beyond.
We must do our part to be blessed.
Our part to be in a “blessable state”, is obedience..
And when we mess up..
He does not throw us into the fire..
He sent His son as an intercesser for us.
Can you believe it..
He let His only begotten Son sacrifice His life in an agonizing way to give us the grace of another chance.
Why? Why would God do this for us?
Because He, the Father, loved us too.

What would it look like if you were able to rest in the peace Jesus left for us?

and give thanks continually.

Why Sabbath?

Shabbat Shalom! Why Sabbath?
so Sabbath means seven. On the seventh day The Lord rested in creation.
So we are commanded by Him to rest on the Sabbath or seventh day.
What does that do for us?
well this morning i was meditating on the Lord
and this occurred to me..
we rest to get in the presence of the Lord and His kingdom more fully.
For how can we make earth as it is in heaven if we don’t see heaven first..
in the Sabbath rest and quiet we are able to see heaven more clearly.
on earth as it is in heaven.
