Forgive fully..but don’t forget.

Forgive and forget does not come from scripture. If you look at 3 John 9 and 10.
Maybe its cause God says He will put our sins in the sea of forgetfulness..
but that applies to a repentant person. A Christian.
To forgive a wrong fully is a blessing to the forgiver..but to remember what happened prepares one to make better choices in the future in reference to the forgiven.
Forgive fully but do not live in denial.
