Hermeneutics, History , and Spirit

The Bible is a much interpreted book.

Some use History as their base of interpretation..and study historical texts of the Bible times..along w the Bible history..some use Hermeneutics and its principles. .studying definitions of words and common knowledge and customs of Bible times to give great insight to our mind understanding of scripture.

I would like to say something about Bible interpretation..inspired by 1 Corinthians 2. The Bible is written Spiritually and is Spiritually discerned..the mind of man can not comprehend it but the Spirit of God reveals it to His own..

the mind interpretations of scripture are a great help..but ultimately..it is the Holy Ghost which gives us the Spirit understanding.

For it is Spiritually written to and for our Spirit..and it is Spiritually discerned.

Lord help!

there are rooms of the mind that the devil sets up as traps..the doors so inviting and seemingly innocent..yet once entered shut hard and become cages..no human effort can release these cages..
once trapped within..one must call on the Lord Jesus to free them.
rooms of gluttony,
vanity,
fear,
lust,
greed,
hate
coveting
the Lord will set you free..call out to Him..Lord help.

love trumps

its like this..
the devil plays rock, paper, sissors.
and always beats you..
and then God comes along
and plays rock, paper, sissors, love.
and love covers all..
problem is
devil ain’t got no love.
so..he don’t understand it..
and that it trumps all.

love..the highest law..
that’s grace.
