Cisterns that hold no Holy Water.

The Bible talks about some leaving the river of living water to rely on cisterns that can hold no water.
A cistern is a container that collects rainwater for later use.
When we rely on this worlds provision..it is like a cistern that can not contain the water..
Without our true reliance on the rain..the cistern is surely short lived.
Look for the well..that door is the name of Jesus Christ..
Or Yeshua
As it is said in ancient Hebrew..or Aramaic.
Jesus natives tongue.

Why build if it could be brought down?

Reading in Jeremiah last chapter..
All that king Solomon had built..
The Babylonians took or destroyed..
Why build it then?

The answer..
Obedience and worship of the Lord.
Solomon and David in heavens eternal terns are not judged by earths eternal standing..it won’t stand.. That is already written..
But obedience to the Spirit of God is written in eternal books in heaven.
God discerns the intent of our heart always.

Moses, Daniel and You.

Imagine if you will..
A Moses joining up with a Daniel from the Bible..what Godly wonders could be done…
Now think..
Jesus was greater then either of these..
And He said..
“You will do the things I do and even greater things.”
If only you knew who said those words to us..
If we knew the power Jesus handed over to us by His name and blood. We would work wonders..
And when we joined up with one other..wow.
If you are a Christian and want to understand the power God gave us in Jesus name..hang out with other true Spirit filled Christians.
In church..or in groups..or buy a saint dinner in ex change for conversation..I am sure the topic of Jesus will come up and you will gain.

What are we speaking into existence?
The Bible says life and death are in the power of our tongue
The Bible says God spoke creation into existence..
What did you speak into existence today?

There is a reason praise is given to us and complaining is forbidden.

Complaining, gossip, cursing..these things speak…
Praise..thanksgiving..
These things speak.

Arrow of the Good Lord.

Ephesians 6 refers to fiery darts of the wicked..lies the devil throws at us through the day.

The Father also has an arrow.. Written of in Psalms 21..

The wicked will turn their backs when he readies His arrow in His string in their face..

It is written..slightly paraphrased.

God’s arrow.. Is the scriptures that are written into eternity.

This is a Word war we are in.

Know your scripture.. Be in the Word of God “the Holy Bible”.. daily..if you plan to enter this war as soldier.. And no longer a slave to sin and the wicked one through unbelief and ignorance.

Our Light…

It is written..

The day spring from on high..

Shone a light to those who SIT  in darkness and the shadow of death.

..to guide our feet into the way of peace..

The Spirit of God  is a moving Spirit..

Not stagnant..not sitting in the dark.

The Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

We are to be moved by His Spirit..

To shine our understanding..or light..of the Word of God to others..
