Why Sabbath?

Shabbat Shalom! Why Sabbath?
so Sabbath means seven. On the seventh day The Lord rested in creation.
So we are commanded by Him to rest on the Sabbath or seventh day.
What does that do for us?
well this morning i was meditating on the Lord
and this occurred to me..
we rest to get in the presence of the Lord and His kingdom more fully.
For how can we make earth as it is in heaven if we don’t see heaven first..
in the Sabbath rest and quiet we are able to see heaven more clearly.
on earth as it is in heaven.

Is Heaven Clean?

How can we approach ..nonetheless enter heaven while sin is still in and on us? how could  it ever be called heaven then?
Heaven is clean or it is not heaven..would you agree?
so how do we get clean enough to enter?
only by what Jesus did for us.
only by His cleansing blood of sacrifice of Himself on the cross in our stead.
He hands us His perfect innocence on that cross and takes our murky..filthy..stagnant..putrid
sin..and hands us in its stead His innocence.
when we repent of our way and ask Him into our life..to be our Savior and our Master..leading us by His Holy Spirit into all Truth..
that is why it is Amazing Grace.
aren’t you tired of that old unfruitful way?
turn from your sin way and ask Jesus to save you.
receive this unimaginable gift today..
you will never be the same and you will never be sorry.

How to seek the Lord. Have you seen Him?

How do we seek the face of the Lord..
Here is a hint..
The Bible says the children’s angels are always looking at the face of God.
It says except ye be as children ye will not see the kingdom.

Maybe by setting aside our opinion of what God is like and seek Him as if we never knew what He was like.
We will see Him.

Just a thought for you.

God is the Spirit from the beginning,
The Spirit that was in Jesus, and the Holy Spirit which is in the Believers who have turned from sin and obeyed the Word of God, turning from sin and asking Jesus to be their savior.

Only one God..only one Spirit..only one Savior.

Good Hands.

The Bible says we are the branches, Jesus is the vine, the Father is the Husbandman.

Sometimes I forget and try to fight the Father for position of Husbandman.

It’s always a mistake.

Jesus said “my yoke is easy and my burden light”.

If you are like that too..repeat after me..
I am not in charge of the universe, I am not in charge of the universe, I am not in charge of the universe..
It’s in good hands though.
I can rest in Him..and let love flow.

The Times the devil.uses people to take all but God from me..

The devil is stupid..

Cause then I can only call on the God of creation.

God has no equal..

Devil you are repeatedly stupid.

Life..or..Death.

When I watch preachers interview people who claim they died and saw
Hell. One thing I noted..many say the tormented people there they knew in life and had died in their sin..said to them.
. Don’t come to this place, there is no way out.

What struck me in this statement is the word “don’t come”…
Its a choice to come somewhere or not..its not by accident.

So what occurs to me is how powerful our words are..in this life.
The Bible says life and death are in the tongue..
In our words.

To say Lord, I repent of my sin, come into.my heart and save me..
Are words that lead to life.

To complain of our do called troubles are words that lead to destruction.

Because scripture says All things work to the good of those that love God and the called according to His purpose.
So when we feel like complaining,, we can turn the tables on the devil of despair and use the feeling to trigger us to thank God for every little thing in our life and in the praise and in thanksgiving tell Him thank you for this new thing you have set up for me..and ask Him to open our eyes to His joy in this..and praise Him the more.

Life and death are a path..a way..a way of living a way of talking..a way of responding..one to destruction..and one to life..
If you feel bad..turn it around right now..
Tell Him thank you for life.
