Looking into the mirror of the Word..As we meditate on it’s verses..Chew on it you might say.. the glory is revealed..And as we match ourselves to what we learn..We are becoming like Christ..Who only said and did what He heard of the Father.

Honor vs Pride

Pride can be defined in various ways depending on whose using the word and in what context to them.

In scripture..False pride is why Lucifer fell from heaven.

False pride sets one up as superior to God. False pride exalts itself against the knowledge of God. False pride always leads to a fall.

If one ponders the concept of pride in this context.. it can leave one wondering..Should I be proud of anything..A good work done well.. my children’s accomplishments..Anything?

I think one might bring into play a misplaced virtue…Honor.

Honor is not heard about much these days.

It used to be stated “death before dishonor”. Not heard of much these days.

Honor..what is it?

It’s related to integrity… And to reverence.

Honor reverences​ God..Glorifies our Father..Our Creator.

False pride worships self, is vain..Establishes vainglory.

These are just some ideas for you to ponder..Food for thought.

Half baked.

Have you ever eaten a cake or pancake that was not yet fully cooked..
Not tasty huh?
Well it’s not good to judge the quality of that cake right then..it’s not fully baked..yet.

We, as people are all like that..
Half baked..not done..not finished.
So..it’s foolishness to judge any person you meet today or any day..they aren’t done either..
They are half baked..yet.

Also.. your aptitude for judging is not fully developed yet either..
It’s half baked..
Don’t lay it out as fully capable..til it is.

Instant

God opens doors no man can close..
Closes doors no man can open.
The horse is prepared for battle..
But victory is of the Lord.
Our part..
Prepare the horse so we can be
Instant in season
And instant out of season.
When God opens a door
We will be able to see it..

Precept upon precept.

Comparing scriptures with each other..We gather the meaning of other scriptures.

Study my friend..

Meditate upon the Law of God…

The scriptures..

Study To show thyself approved unto God. 

You will become workman that needeth not to be ashamed.
